How to fix Nautilus Always Shows Hidden Files

Even I untick show hidden files or use Ctrl + H in Gnome File Manager, Every next time when I open the nautilus it showed me the hidden files (dot files). Following small trick will fix it.


Open dconf-editor.
Go to org->gtk->settings->file-chooser
Untick 'show-hidden'

dconf-editor

Then the problem solved.
